Testing
The accuracy of the system’s volume measurement can be assessed through a comparison of the volume measured by the system and the volume measured by a calibrated set of scales.
Leaving the software to record a slow flow rate and checking if the measurements match the theoretical measurements of flow rate and volume will allow the maximum recording duration to be identified.
Results
The mean difference between the true and measured flow rate is -0.15 ml/s and the standard deviation of the measured flow rate is +/-1.34𝑚𝑙/𝑠.
The exact maximum recording duration is >10 minutes.
